Trip description

There are countless wonderful ascents to the peaks of the Eastern Alps. Together, we can look at the top with simpler, but also technically demanding options. Based on your experience, we will arrange your own adventure!

For more demanding events, a basic knowledge of movement on the glacier, a basic knowledge of working with a rope and also the ability to move in rocky terrain are needed. If you don't have these skills, we can help you prepare for the alpine summit together.

Which output will you choose?

Grossvenediger – with its 3666 m, it is the fourth highest mountain in Austria. The glacier-covered peak is one of the most interesting high-altitude destinations in the Austrian Alps, and upon ascent you will be offered a breathtaking view of the entire Hohe Tauern group, including Austria's highest mountain, the Grossglockner (3,798 m), which is located nearby.

Grossglockner – I want to find out more

Johannisberg – the snow-covered mountain rises impressively above the upper part of the Oberster Pasterzenboden glacier and thus borders the edge of the entire massive Pasterze glacier from the northwest. This mountain is definitely not to be missed.

High Rifle – is a mountain located in Austria in the northern part of the Zillertal Alps. It is located in the central part of the Tux ridge

and other highlights at your request!

The UIAGM mountain guide has the highest international license to work in the mountains and has liability insurance.

What can you look forward to?

The mountain guide will discuss your plans with you and you will agree on a suitable program together.
Adequate physical condition is necessary for each climb. Depending on the difficulty of the selected peak, you will discuss the need for climbing experience with the mountain guide. If your dream mountain peak requires longer and more demanding preparation or you need to improve your skills, a mountain guide can help you with your preparation.

During teaching, we will focus intensively on practical training and individual approaches. Each UIAGM mountain guide respects the usual number of guests on the rope in his work due to the local location, the hike and the type of event organized. Furthermore, due to the overall guarantee of safety, the difficulty of the terrain, and the physical and mental abilities of the guests. An active mountain guide is proven by a valid international UIAGM license with a paid annual fee. If you are participating in any event where a rope is necessary for progress and you are moving in mountaineering terrain, demand as customers, even from a travel agency, a qualified person, a UIAGM mountain guide, who will choose an adequate number of people in relation to the objectives of the event. According to European laws, a MOUNTAIN guide with a valid UIAGM license is the only person who is allowed to guide his guests on glaciers.
