Trip description

In Nepal, in the Himalayas, we will follow in the footsteps of Hillary, Tenzing and other brave climbers through the Solo Khumbu Valley.

This valley in Nepal in the Himalayas is rightfully famous not only for its proximity to the world's highest mountain at 8,850m, but also for Sherpa villages and monasteries. The mystical Buddhist monastery of Tengboche is the place from where we first see not only Everest, but also another beautiful Himalayan mountain of Nepal, Ama Dablam.

The goal of the trek is the base camp of Everest at an altitude of approximately 5,340m. It is not possible to see the highest mountain in the world from the base camp, so we will go to Kala Pattar, a hill at a height of 5,545m on the southern slope of Pumori (7,145m). From Kala Pattar, the most beautiful view is of the south face of Everest with its mighty Khumbu glacier, which was just penetrated by the first ascent to Everest in 1953.

The trek to the Everest BC camp in the Himalayas is not only for more demanding trekkers, but also for those who are getting to know Nepal and their first steps lead here.

We trek in small groups!

Start discovering the world of the Himalayas.
