Climbing Hogwarts – an experience from the heights of the Tatras
Hogwarts, a majestic peak in the heart of the High Tatras, attracts mountain lovers with its unique beauty and views. Although often in the shadow of the dominant Gerlach peak, it offers an unforgettable mountain experience. Climbing its four peaks is a challenge that will reward you with panoramas that are hard to find elsewhere. Hogwarts can be reached by several routes, which vary in difficulty and technical requirements, and are always led by a certified UIAGM mountain guide.
Route and exit options
Hogwarts offers two exit options:
Views and descent
On the way up and down, you will be accompanied by unforgettable views of the Gerlach Peak, which is a constant companion of this adventure. The descent leads through the Opal Saddle below the Opal Wall, where the circuit is completed by connecting to the trail in the Velická Valley.
