Trip description

Would you like to go on a skialp/splitboard tour in the Giant Mountains? Would you like to get to know new places of the local nature? Go with us on a four-day tour on skis or splitboards.

The hike with the crossing of the Krkonoše Mountains stretches from west to east. We start in Rokytnica nad Jizerou, we continue through the Pod Łabski Szczyt hut on the Polish side. Next, we will go to Špindlerův Mlýn with a stop at Brádlerův bouda. We will continue to the Krkonoše ridges via Chata Výrovka to Sněžka 1603 m above sea level From there to Pece pod Sněžkou or. to Karpacz, where the crossing ends.

We will have time to warm up with a hot drink at the mountain huts that we will get to know on our chosen route.

During the hike, we will certainly open mountain topics about avalanches, equipment, ascents, improving technique and other questions that will interest you.

Who is the ski alpine course intended for?

For ski alpinists and splitboarders who want to go on a hike through the Krkonoše nature.

How big is the group?

When teaching, we focus very much on practical training and individual approaches, therefore the group has a maximum of 8 participants per one UIAGM mountain guide. The hike is realized with a minimum number of 4 participants.

How fit do I need to be?

You should be able to master the basics of movement on skialps or a splitboard and be able to deal with avalanche danger.

What does the price include?

Price includes:
4 day hike with UIAGM mountain guide
Cancellation insurance

The price does not include:
Transportation to the event location
Accommodation and refreshments
Rental of avalanche and ski/spitboard equipment.

Where will we meet?

In Rokytnica nad Jizerou at the bottom station of the Horní Domky cable car.

How is insurance provided?

Coverage of medical expenses in the event of an accident includes regular health insurance with your health insurance company.

What do I have to do to participate in the course?

Submit your application using the form on this page. After receiving this application, we will send you a travel contract and other necessary information. The deposit must be paid within 10 days from the conclusion of the contract by bank transfer. Additional payment for the event according to the instructions in the travel contract.
