Chimborazo is Ecuador's highest volcano and, at 6,310 m, it is the highest mountain in the world measured from the center of the earth. In the past, it was long considered the highest mountain in the world.
It is located in the western Ecuadorian Cordillera chain. The difficulty of the ascent is mainly determined by the altitude, from the technical point of view it is mostly walking. It is necessary to be well acclimatized before climbing.

9th day: Youstep up to high camp Chimborazo 5300 m. An hour's crossing from Riobamba and a three-hour climb to the camp. Early dinner and preparation for the night climb.
Day 10: Chimorazo summit 6263 m. A long and tiring journey awaits us, 11-13 hours in total. We will start climbing at midnight, we will be at the top at about 7 am and at 10 am we will be back at the high camp, where we will have breakfast. Then we pack up and descend to the parking lot in another hour. Travel to Quito (4 hours), lunch on the way and overnight at the Quito hotel.
