Ski alpinism is today's trend in the combination of skis and outdoor activities in the mountains.
The course includes 3 full days of instruction.
On our ski alpine course, we will teach you everything you need to know about moving on alpine skis in the terrain: climbs, turns, individual and team movement tactics, riding technique in rough terrain, movement tactics and safety rules. Plan a hike in the mountains so that you can not only manage the ascent through challenging terrain, but ideally end the day with a safe and well-managed descent and reach the destination safely. Avalanche issues, the use of avalanche search engines, snow and its types are also included - however, we cover this in detail on our avalanche course.
The ski alpine course lasts 3 days. The course includes a half-day training for driving in rough terrain and an introduction to working with avalanche searchers. Next, we will go on two exemplary ski mountaineering tours through Blue Mine, Giant Mine, through Luční bouda to Sněžka, etc., where you will practically try and learn everything. Every evening you will improve the theory of ski mountaineering.
At events, we use and rent outdoor equipment from Pieps, ABS, Skitrab, Edelrid.
The UIAGM mountain guide has the highest international license to work in the mountains and has liability insurance.
